BlackRock reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 9, 2020.
In 2019, five BlackRock executives received on average a compensation package of $13M, a 6% decrease compared to previous year.

Laurence D. Fink, Chief Executive Officer, received $24M in total, which decreased by 8% compared to 2018. 61% of Fink's compensation, or $15M, was in stock awards. Fink also received $7.8M in bonus, $1.5M in salary, as well as $308K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $133,644 at BlackRock. Therefore, the ratio of Laurence D. Fink's pay to the median employee pay was 182 to one.
Robert S. Kapito, President, received a compensation package of $19M, which decreased by 8% compared to previous year. 60% of the compensation package, or $11M, was in stock awards.
Robert L. Goldstein, Chief Operating Officer, earned $7.9M in 2019, which is about the same as previous year.
J. Richard Kushel, Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Multi, Asset Strategies and Global Fixed Income, received $6.6M in 2019, which decreases by 4% compared to 2018.
Gary S. Shedlin, Chief Financial Officer, earned $6.5M in 2019, a 2% decrease compared to previous year.
