Calpine reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on April 5, 2010.
In 2009, five Calpine executives received on average a compensation package of $2.3M, a 85% decrease compared to previous year.

Jack A. Fusco, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.4M in total, which decreased by 86% compared to 2008. 39% of Fusco's compensation, or $1.7M, was in option awards. Fusco also received $1.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $60K in other compensation.
W. Thaddeus Miller, Chief Legal Officer, received a compensation package of $2.4M, which decreased by 78% compared to previous year. 46% of the compensation package, or $1.1M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
John B. Hill, Chief Operating Officer, earned $2.1M in 2009, a 80% decrease compared to previous year.
Zamir Rauf, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.2M in 2009, which decreases by 71% compared to 2008.
Jim D. Deidiker, Chief Accounting Officer, earned $1M in 2009.
