Ecolab reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 18, 2022.
In 2021, five Ecolab executives received on average a compensation package of $4.1M, a 46% decrease compared to previous year.

Christophe Beck, Chief Executive Officer, received $8.4M in total, which increased by 30% compared to 2020. 34% of Beck's compensation, or $2.9M, was in stock awards. Beck also received $1.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $2.9M in option awards, $1M in salary, as well as $190K in other compensation.
Daniel J. Schmechel, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $3.7M, which decreased by 36% compared to previous year. 31% of the compensation package, or $1.1M, was in stock awards.
Angela M. Busch, Executive Vice President Corporate Strategy and Business Development, earned $3.6M in 2021.
Timothy P. Mulhere, Executive Vice President Global Institutional and Specialty Services, received $2.6M in 2021.
Douglas M. Baker, Jr, Chairman, earned $2.5M in 2021, a 85% decrease compared to previous year.
