Freeport-McMoRan reported fiscal year 2006 executive compensation information on June 5, 2007.
In 2006, six executives at Freeport-McMoRan received on average a compensation package of $16M, a 17% increase compared to previous year.

James R. Moffett, Chairman, received $39M in total, which increased by 12% compared to 2005. 71% of Moffett's compensation, or $28M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Mark J. Johnson, Chief Operating Officer, received $4.2M in 2006, which increases by 10% compared to 2005.
