Geron reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 22, 2022.
In 2021, six Geron executives received on average a compensation package of $1.3M, a 16% increase compared to previous year.
John A. Scarlett, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.1M in total, which increased by 10% compared to 2020. 39% of Scarlett's compensation, or $797K, was in option awards. Scarlett also received $441K in non-equity incentive plan, $736K in salary, as well as $83K in other compensation.
Aleksandra Rizo, Chief Medical Officer, received a compensation package of $1.3M, which increased by 11% compared to previous year. 40% of the compensation package, or $506K, was in salary.
Andrew J. Grethlein, Chief Operating Officer, earned $1.2M in 2021, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Melissa A. Kelly Behrs, Executive Vice President, Business Operations and Chief Alliance Officer, received $1.2M in 2021, which increases by 14% compared to 2020.
Olivia K. Bloom, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.1M in 2021, a 14% increase compared to previous year.
Anil Kapur, Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Chief Commercial Officer, received $1.1M in 2021, which increases by 56% compared to 2020.
