MGE Energy reported fiscal year 2007 executive compensation information on April 14, 2008.
In 2007, six MGE Energy executives received on average a compensation package of $548K, a 28% increase compared to previous year.
Gary J. Wolter, Chief Executive Officer, received $990K in total, which increased by 28% compared to 2006. 44% of Wolter's compensation, or $438K, was in salary. Wolter also received $210K in bonus, $146K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $171K in stock awards, as well as $24K in other compensation.
Kristine A. Euclide, General Counsel, received a compensation package of $511K, which increased by 49% compared to previous year. 43% of the compensation package, or $222K, was in salary.
Scott A. Neitzel, Vice President Energy Supply, earned $478K in 2007, a 38% increase compared to previous year.
Terry A. Hanson, Chief Financial Officer, received $461K in 2007, which increases by 30% compared to 2006.
Peter J. Waldron, Vice President and Operations Officer, earned $436K in 2007.
Jeffrey C. Newman, Chief Financial Officer, received $410K in 2007, which increases by 31% compared to 2006.
