MGE Energy reported fiscal year 2008 executive compensation information on April 9, 2009.
In 2008, seven MGE Energy executives received on average a compensation package of $603K, a 10% increase compared to previous year.
Gary J. Wolter, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.1M in total, which increased by 14% compared to 2007. 41% of Wolter's compensation, or $461K, was in salary. Wolter also received $198K in bonus, $310K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $133K in stock awards, as well as $25K in other compensation.
Terry A. Hanson, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $598K, which increased by 30% compared to previous year. 40% of the compensation package, or $239K, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings.
Kristine A. Euclide, General Counsel, earned $548K in 2008, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Scott A. Neitzel, Vice President Energy Supply, received $532K in 2008, which increases by 11% compared to 2007.
Peter J. Waldron, Vice President and Operations Officer, earned $483K in 2008, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
Lynn K. Hobbie, Senior Vice President, received $475K in 2008.
Jeffrey C. Newman, Chief Financial Officer, earned $456K in 2008, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
