MGE Energy reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on March 23, 2011.
In 2009, seven MGE Energy executives received on average a compensation package of $629K, a 4% increase compared to previous year.

Gary J. Wolter, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.2M in total, which increased by 4% compared to 2008. 40% of Wolter's compensation, or $470K, was in salary. Peter J. Waldron, Vice President and Operations Officer, earned $523K in 2009, a 8% increase compared to previous year.
Jeffrey C. Newman, Chief Financial Officer, received $511K in 2009, which increases by 12% compared to 2008.
Lynn K. Hobbie, Senior Vice President, earned $497K in 2009, a 5% increase compared to previous year.
