Nelnet reported fiscal year 2010 executive compensation information on April 15, 2011.
In 2010, five Nelnet executives received on average a compensation package of $671K, a 29% increase compared to previous year.
Michael S. Dunlap, Chief Executive Officer, received $1M in total, which increased by 98% compared to 2009. 49% of Dunlap's compensation, or $500K, was in bonus. Dunlap also received $500K in salary and $10K in other compensation.

Timothy A. Tewes, Chief Executive Officer, received $469K in 2010, which increases by 15% compared to 2009.
William J. Munn, General Counsel, earned $408K in 2010.
