Nelnet reported fiscal year 2012 executive compensation information on April 10, 2013.
In 2012, five Nelnet executives received on average a compensation package of $834K, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Terry J. Heimes, Chief Operating Officer, received $1.1M in total, which increased by 11% compared to 2011. 50% of Heimes' compensation, or $538K, was in bonus. Heimes also received $500K in salary and $38K in other compensation.
Jeffrey R. Noordhoek, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $1M, which increased by 5% compared to previous year. 48% of the compensation package, or $500K, was in bonus.
Michael S. Dunlap, Chairman, earned $1M in 2012, a 1% increase compared to previous year.
Timothy A. Tewes, President, received $649K in 2012, which increases by 36% compared to 2011.
William J. Munn, General Counsel, earned $392K in 2012, a 15% decrease compared to previous year.
