SPX reported fiscal year 2008 executive compensation information on March 18, 2009.
In 2008, five SPX executives received on average a compensation package of $7.3M, a 46% increase compared to previous year.
Average pay of disclosed executives at SPX
Christopher J. Kearney, Chief Executive Officer, received $17M in total, which increased by 56% compared to 2007. 40% of Kearney's compensation, or $6.8M, was in stock awards. Kearney also received $6M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $2.7M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.1M in salary, as well as $390K in other compensation.
Robert B. Foreman, Executive Vice President, Global Business Systems Services, President, Asia Pacific, received a compensation package of $7.1M, which increased by 50% compared to previous year. 34% of the compensation package, or $2.4M, was in stock awards.
Patrick J. O'Leary, Chief Financial Officer, earned $6.3M in 2008, a 20% increase compared to previous year.
Don L. Canterna, Segment President, Flow Technology, received $3.2M in 2008, which increases by 55% compared to 2007.
Kevin L. Lilly, General Counsel, earned $2.9M in 2008, a 39% increase compared to previous year.
