WeWork reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 7, 2022.
In 2021, five WeWork executives received on average a compensation package of $8.4M, a 85% increase compared to previous year.

Sandeep Mathrani, Chief Executive Officer, received $21M in total, which increased by 182% compared to 2020. 50% of Mathrani's compensation, or $11M, was in bonus. Mathrani also received $332K in option awards, $1.5M in salary, $8.7M in stock awards, as well as $1.8K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $72,029 at WeWork. Therefore, the ratio of Sandeep Mathrani's pay to the median employee pay was 296 to one.
Anthony Yazbeck, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $7.5M, which increased by 107% compared to previous year. 58% of the compensation package, or $4.3M, was in bonus.
