Costco reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on December 14, 2018.

In 2018, five Costco executives received on average a compensation package of $4.8M, a 3% increase compared to previous year.

W. Craig Jelinek, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.4M in total, which increased by 12% compared to 2017. 84.98% of Jelinek's compensation, or $6.3M, was in stock awards. Jelinek also received $97K in bonus, $107.9K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $800K in salary, as well as $107.8K in other compensation.

Richard A. Galanti, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $4.3M, which increased by 7% compared to previous year. 73.49% of the compensation package, or $3.2M, was in stock awards.

Joseph P. Portera, Chief Operating Officer, earned $4.1M in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.

Paul G. Moulton, Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer, received $4M in 2018, which increases by 7% compared to 2017.

James P. Murphy, Chief Operating Officer, earned $4M in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.

Costco's fiscal year ends on September 2.
