EnerSys reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on June 21, 2018.
In 2018, five EnerSys executives received on average a compensation package of $2.5M, a 13% decrease compared to previous year.

David M. Shaffer, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.2M in total, which decreased by 8% compared to 2017. 56% of Shaffer's compensation, or $2.9M, was in stock awards. Shaffer also received $417K in non-equity incentive plan, $975K in option awards, $850K in salary, as well as $46K in other compensation.
Todd M. Sechrist, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $2M, which decreased by 17% compared to previous year. 49% of the compensation package, or $990K, was in stock awards.
Michael J. Schmidtlein, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2M in 2018, a 17% decrease compared to previous year.
Myles Jones, President - Asia, received $1.6M in 2018, which decreases by 16% compared to 2017.
Holger P. Aschke, President - EMEA, earned $1.4M in 2018, a 14% decrease compared to previous year.
EnerSys' fiscal year ends on March 31.
