CTO Jigar Thakkar receives $6.3M

MSCI reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on March 11, 2019.

In 2018, five MSCI executives received on average a compensation package of $3,278,801, a 52% increase compared to previous year.

Jigar Thakkar, Chief Technology Officer, received $6,288,091 in total. 51.84% of Thakkar's compensation, or $3,259,836, was in stock awards. Thakkar also received $1,850,000 in bonus, $402,150 in non-equity incentive plan, $229,167 in salary, as well as $546,938 in other compensation.

Henry A. Fernandez, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $2,978,454, which increased by 20% compared to previous year. 60.44% of the compensation package, or $1,800,080, was in non-equity incentive plan.

C.D. Baer Pettit, President, earned $2,864,473 in 2018, a 34% increase compared to previous year.

Laurent Seyer, Chief Operating Officer, received $2,161,640 in 2018, which increases by 9% compared to 2017.

Kathleen A. Winters, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2,101,349 in 2018, a 15% decrease compared to previous year.
