TD Ameritrade reports 2018 executive compensation

CEO Tim Hockey receives $8.6M

TD Ameritrade reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on December 31, 2018.

In 2018, five executives at TD Ameritrade received on average a compensation package of $4,838,445, a 24% increase compared to previous year.

Tim Hockey, Chief Executive Officer, received $8,577,509 in total, which increased by 17% compared to 2017. 57.26% of Hockey's compensation, or $4,911,253, was in stock awards. Hockey also received $2,650,050 in non-equity incentive plan, $1,000,000 in salary, as well as $16,206 in other compensation.

Peter J. deSilva, Executive Vice President, Retail Distribution, received a compensation package of $6,893,121. 89.53% of the compensation package, or $6,171,361, was in non-equity incentive plan.

Thomas A. Nally, Executive Vice President, Institutional Services, earned $3,521,305 in 2018, a 31% increase compared to previous year.

Stephen J. Boyle, Chief Financial Officer, received $2,730,664 in 2018, which increases by 19% compared to 2017.

Steven M. Quirk, Executive Vice President, Trader and Education, earned $2,469,624 in 2018, a 8% increase compared to previous year.
